Pony Rides

We arrange pony parties for children at the Riding School but we wish to emphasise that we are not a party venue that provides any entertainment that is not related to horses or horse activities. We do not make provision for adults, but friends and family are welcome to bring a picnic / refreshments and watch the children. We can also arrange for catering, platters and party packs for your party at an extra fee. Tables and chairs are available for your guests.

Criteria for all pony rides

Riding experience is not essential.
Riding hats are compulsory and we do supply these.
We prefer that riders wear long pants and closed or strap-on shoes that will not fall off during the ride.
Age limit: 2 years to 12 years of age
Speed: walk
Each child’s parent or guardian will be asked to sign an indemnity form before they may ride. Hard hats will be provided.

Option One: Two Hour Pony Party.
Mounted pony games and pony rides, or a mini trail-ride and games.

Option Two: Three Hour Pony Party.
Pony Camp "mini" day with mounted pony games, mini trail-ride, treasure hunt

Minimum of ponies per party is two, and maximum is ten, price of party remains the same.

Our ponies are safe, well-mannered and child friendly.
Each pony has their own saddle and bridle
The ponies will be led by our very competent staff
